Dhanbad: Once again the matter of shaming the relationship has come to the fore. A 25-year-old married woman resident of Het Kandra under Gaushala OP area of Sindri has accused her 54-year-old father-in-law Basu Gorai of forcibly raping her. The woman has given a written complaint to the Gaushala OP. Taking action, the Gaushala police arrested the accused and sent him to jail on Wednesday. She was a victim of her father-in-law’s lust.
The woman has told in her written complaint that on September 20, at around 3 pm, she was alone in the house. Husband had gone to Chasnala colliery duty. Mother-in-law had gone to her daughter’s house in Kashipur two days ago. Finding me alone, my father-in-law, Basu Gorai, forcibly took me to the room by holding hands and made a physical relationship with me after getting naked. And threatened that if I tell this to anyone, I will kill you. Whenever I call you to have a physical relationship, you will have to come. After the incident, I called my husband and informed about it.
On reaching the husband’s house, the father-in-law ran away from the house. Gaushala police said that on the written complaint of the victim woman, accused Basu Gorai was arrested from his house on Tuesday night and sent to Dhanbad jail on Wednesday. OP in-charge Vikas Kumar Mahto said that a case has been registered against the accused Basu Gaurai under sections 376 and 506 of Bhadvi.
