Dhanbad: Dhanbad Railway Division celebrated “Clean Train Day” on the sixth day of Swachhta Pakhwada today, 21 September. During this, special attention was paid to the cleanliness of trains at Dhanbad railway station. Cleanliness was ensured in trains by running a campaign.
In addition, the station premises, railway tracks, platforms, foot overbridges, and toilets were cleaned. In this campaign, a large number of railway employees participated enthusiastically at all the stations of Dhanbad Railway Division.
Swachhta Pakhwada is being celebrated in Dhanbad Railway Divisional Headquarters and various stations from 16th September, which will continue till 2nd October. During this, a cleanliness awareness campaign is being run on station premises and train, cleanliness of water-booth, quality of drinking water, cleanliness of toilets, availability of a sufficient number of dustbins, waste disposal, and cleanliness awareness. Along with this, a quiz competition was also organized for the officers at Dhanbad Railway Division Headquarters on 21st September under the Official Language Week.
